Finally for the very first time in Sri Lanka right after the solo album from Krishan, a Tamil R&B album that’s as unique as its name. Cross Culture is an album that you’ll definitely be hearing more about.

 

Created by Dinesh and Gajan it's an R'n'B album with a hip hop flavour. The album features Tamil and English songs along with few Sinhala songs. Launched under Universal Music and MEntertainment this is the duo’s debut album.

 

When you look at the list of names associated with its production, it’s obvious that this is fusion and ethnic music at its best. Eranga Jayawanse, Yohan Rajapakse, Chinthy, Ranga Jayagoda, Bathiya N Santhush, Sacith, Randhir and Danu are just a few people who are involved with this project Bathiya, Santhush, Ashanthi, Randhir, Legacy, Krishan etc are some of the guest artists on Cross Culture. The track CROSS CULTURE STORY featuring Randhir is definitely going to be a future hit.

                           

                             


Krishan was the first person to release a solo Tamil album and Dinesh N Gajan were both featured in his album Asian Avenue. Gajan, the founder of Urban Sound along with Krishan, Dinesh, the upcoming Tamil artist who have been also featured in Bathiya N Santhush’s song ‘NAAN SONNAL’. ‘NAAN SONNAL’ is a laidback RNB track that’s perfect to listen to when you’re just chilling out.

 

This album is going to fill the void in the industry which has sadly been lacking in Tamil music with a hip hop vibe. Cross Culture is an album that you should definitely watch out for.
