ASIAN 8 MILE BATTLE COMPETITION
The second month of the Asian 8 Mile competition had both pretenders and contenders step up to wrestle for the title of Battle Champion 2006.
Another packed out month at the Bombay Bronx
There were two heats last night with the first being crowd pleaser Swami Baracus (as Nihal commentated what a great name) versus MC Messi.
The second heat featured Loven rapping against the tri-lingual Thunder Cat (we're going with Cat because we didn't quite catch it).
The clear crowd favourites were Swami Baracus and Thunder Cat, drawing 'Ooohs' and 'Aaahs' from the spectators with their disses.
In all fairness to Loven though, Thunder Cat did seem to have greater support from the crowd than he did. Was a closer run affair than the Swami B vs Mc Messi heat.
The Battlers this month minus Lavan
The Final of this month's Bronx was between Swami B and Thunder Cat. Swami B was the more polished of the two though and the clearer crowd favourite.
Props to Swami B...Next month should be interesting however with the return of the Leano.
We got an inside scoop...The Leano heard the Swami rap and he ain't scared. Tune in next month folks....Even better...Turn up to support. Notting Hill Arts Club...
